TW cfm'd!!!

Cfm'd the Taiwan tour at Giamso Tour Agency...
Cathay Pac flights...
Pity have to transit at HK for both to-and-fro trips...
NVM...

At least its cheaper than S"over-rated"Q by a good $100...
7D6N from 1/6 to 7/6... $968/pax...
However the airport tax subjected to change...
Currently its at $184...
the sales rep told me that there are several factors that will cost airport tax to rise...
for instance, rising fuel prices, terrorist attacks, high tourist rates, exchange rate changes...

Wah...so many conditions... Pray that things will work in our favour...
We really couldn't decide between China Air or Cathay Pac... Kathy is kinda anti-China..
EVERYTHING ABT CHINA for that matter...
That includes airlines too...
Ultimately, the price and timings for CP prevailed...
Deposit of 800 paid...
Great!!! That's done for now...
My advanced exam timetable states my last paper is on 30/5...
Pray no last-min changes o/w I will be seriously screwed!

Next stop, IT show at Suntec...
To use the word "packed" to describe the scene is inappropriate as its like a billion times worse.
I've never seen so many ppl at Suntec B4...
Gary and Fion did tell me to be PREPARED...

The only "things" that could match up to the sheer quantity of tec-hibits were...

people...

people...

people...

people...

people...

people...

people...

more people...

more and more people...

and even more people...

Get it?

The exhibits are on 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th floors...
It was crazy...Like as though the vendors were distributing free LCDs or Notebooks...
HOLY F'N SHAT!!!
As I expected, bumps and nudging are irrecovably inevitable...
That sucks... At one point, got shoved repeatedly by this one Indian m'fkr... almost wanted to wallop his sori arse...

Items purchased... Wireless Keyboard and mouse, 100 pieces DVD-Rs, External DVD drive, USB card reader and CD sleeves...Pity didn't managed to get the Digital USB TV Tuner... Those on display were FUGLY...

Those who came, bought big...
HUGE-ARSE HD LCDs being carried off as though they cost below $100...

Star of the show... This Indian promoter advertising a psuedo-ipod nano pasar malam style...

the China players made their presence known along sight the usual suspects at yr typical IT show.
Great tech gear, great atmosphere, CRAZY crowd...
Saw Johnston & family... He bought a SonicGear Sound system for $65...
Lookin' forward to the next show!!!

Quick shopping & dinner at Cartel@Marina and Home sweet home after that...
